Greystone was recently selected by Community Health Systems for the acquisition of a portfolio of medical office buildings in Northern Indiana. These buildings serve as the primary physician offices for the Markle Medical Group (Markle and Warren, IN) and Preferred Family Physicians (Hartford City and Portland, IN). Many of the physicians practicing at these locations have recently become employees of the nearby Bluffton Medical Center which is part of CHS’s portfolio of over 110 hospitals nationally.

 
The portfolio of medical office buildings consists of four properties valued at over $2.4 Million. The acquisition of the first two buildings is anticipated to close in the 1st or 2nd Quarter of 2009 with the second two closings following in the 2nd or 3rd Quarter of 2009. Greystone has entered into further discussions with CHS regarding additional acquisitions in markets across the country.
